Ping Golf Men's G20 Irons With Graphite Shaft

PING designers engineered extreme forgiveness and predictable distance control into the G20 irons.

The cavity's floating Custom Tuning Port (CTP) structure stabilizes the face. Its aluminum badge with elastomer heel and toe sections produces both a solid feel and sound. The CTP reinforces a 10% thinner face and controls distances while saving weight, which was added to the back flange of the deeply cut, multi-cavity head to increase the MOI. Combined with PING's new CFS steel shaft (control, feel and stability), the G20 optimizes feel and trajectories. Consistent yardage gapping is a key benefit of the G20 set, which includes high-launching long irons that maximize the overall range and predictability of a player's set.

The G20 Irons are designed to deliver superior distance, control, accuracy, and performance. Forgiveness and accuracy are achieved through extreme perimeter weighting in the 17-4 stainless steel head. A multi-material cavity badge made of soft elastomer improves feel and sound while enhancing distance control, allowing you to play your best golf.

Consistent, precise distance control was achieved by using a thin face backed by a floating CTP structure. Weight in the back flange of the deeply cut, multi-cavity head increases the MOI. Combined with PING's new CFS steel shaft, the G20 optimizes feel and trajectories. The hosel-to-head transition and clean appearance of the G20's inspire confidence at address that the ball will launch clean and easy from any lie on the course.

Features of Ping G20 Irons:

Distance Control
The cavity's floating CTP structure stabilizes a thin face to generate fast ball speeds and enhance distance control.

Optimized CG Position
Weight saved by thinning the face allowed Ping engineers to redistribute weight to the perimeter and the back flange, which positions the CG low and back to launch the ball higher and longer.
Thin Face A multi-material cavity badge made with soft elastomer heel and toe sections improves feel and sound. Including a hybrid iron for the mid irons to allow for an easier transition from hybrids to G20 irons. All lofts will be offered for complete customization. Don't be surprised to see the G20 woods and hibrids sporting a new head shape - something akin to the new Burner series from TaylorMade. The new shape is more forgiving for the weekend golfer but can still be worked. This will assist in differentiate the series from the Rapture line. Ping continues to receive strong demand for a return of the TISI woods and may offer a new TISI line of woods and hybrids with traditional shapes for the better player. Also look for a new line of putters that will incorporate new materials.

PING G20 Line Driver Available Now

With the successful launch of G20 Irons, the whole new G20 range come out now! Today let's view the Driver first.

The PING G20 Driver is designed for all ability levels. External weighting helps launch the forgiving G20 driver with a high, low spinning ball flight for maximum distance and accuracy. Large, variable-thickness in the Ping G20 Driver's face increases MOI across the hitting surface and generates faster ball speeds for increased forgiveness and power.

The Ping G20 driver has a slightly wider face than the G15 and at address the head appears bigger, although not quite as large as the K15.  Golf Clubs For Sale This is achieved by a shallower crown and also visually by a lighter metallic silver finish. It's interesting that Ping have moved away from black to something slightly lighter. It does look very good but is a little more reflective in bright conditions when compared to the previous black colour.

PING's proprietary high-balance-point TFC 169D shaft creates a higher MOI and generates faster ball speeds enabling golfers to swing a clubhead with more mass at the same speed, for longer, straighter drives. The Ping G20 is a 460cc clubhead made from Ti 8-1-1, a lower-density, lighter alloy material. It's high strength-to-weight ratio increases the MOI and allows additional weight to be strategically placed on the head

The PING G20 Driver has a heavier head than G15 (7 grams more than standard) for greater force at impact. Additional backweighting and a more elongated face shore up misses. (Ping "shaved" the head in the low toe area to meet the 460cc size limit.)

The reconfigured clubhead — 5 percent higher moment of inertia on heel or toe hits — combines with a light, 45.75-inch "high-balance point" shaft (TFC 169D or TFC 169D Tour) to boost clubhead speed and, thus, distance. Specifically, the TFC 169D shaft has more flexible tip and butt sections for softer feel

Additionally, PING G20 Driver launches shots 0.75 degrees higher than G15, with 200 rpm less spin and 1 mph faster ball speed on center hits, which adds up to five yards more carry and roll.

Ping G20 Irons: good buy at online store

When I stepped into the college, I got to love shopping online; I had to admit that it was pretty convenient. However, the minute I was immersed in the convenience and out for small advantages, I suffered losses. I still remembered that I was attracted by the cheap coat, after receiving the goods; I really wanted to give myself the slaps. According to my investigation, I found that the goods here are pretty genuine, then I try my best to buy the g20 irons, which was regarded as the hot iron recent years, to my surprise, it's really cool as people commented on that shop.

In the beginning, the ping g20 irons are designed to hit the ball long with forgiveness and distance control. Ping have added extreme perimeter weighting in the deep, multi-cavity back of the irons which makes the 17-4 stainless steel heads highly forgiving. The multi-material cavity badge made with soft elastomer heel and toe sections improves the feel and sound of the club, while the cavity’s floating CTP structure stabilises the ping g20's thin face to generate fast ball speeds. The Ping G20 Irons come with PING's CFS (standing for Control, Feel, Stability) steel shaft. I think this is also my good buy.

Ping G20 Iron review by Joe Golf - The Golf Guy

Ping has always made exceptional golf equipment. They are very well known for their irons and putters. They are mostly considered a forgiving brand. Ping still has those great tour players playing their tour spec clubs but their niche is to the higher handicap player in my mind.
Today we will be discussing the G20 Irons by Ping…
When I first saw the pictures of the G20 Irons I thought to myself that this was the G15 with just a new paint job… however as soon as I swung it I know it was different. Now most club fitters will tell you that forgiveness relates to two things… Feel and sound. Ping has always had great sound but some of their irons didn’t have the best feel. Not this one.
Every swing I took felt like the ball was just jumping off the face. Now they are a little stronger lofts than some irons but they are the same as the G20 set. I hit them on a Flightscope launch monitor and picked up 5 yards on the 7 iron between the two sets. For me that is huge. They still have many of the same features as the G15 club… 17/4 Stainless steel frame, the ID8 grip (which I think is the best stock grip from any company) and a lightweight high performing shafts.
The shafts they put in the G20 are a new shaft that is specific to get the best performance for this head only. The CFS shaft is a little lighter than the AWT shaft they have put in the past. At 99 grams on a regular and 109 on a stiff they are following the mold of lighter is longer that many of the driver companies are adopting.
Now I do not really like the color set for this iron… it doesn’t bother me but I think the great minds at Ping could of done a little better job at making it look like a traditional golf club in my opinion.
Well that’s all I have for you today.
As usual keep em' in the fairway and hit em' straight.
